WIC is a federally funded nutrition program for Women, Infants and Children. WIC provides – at no cost - healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support and referrals for healthcare.
WIC is available to pregnant and post partum women and their children up to the age of five who meet certain requirements.
Eligible women and children participating in the WIC program receive vouchers to purchase specific nutritious foods that can be redeemed at approved grocery stores.
WIC Nutritionists work closely with mothers to help them build healthy habits for a lifetime.
