Access to Well and Septic Information on Your Property
Find the location of your septic system or well. Follow these steps:

On the top of the page, click Retrieve

On the drop down menu, choose permit type. There are three (3) categories: Septic, Well, and I/M (Industrial Manufacturing and Commercial systems).

Enter the property address (i.e. house number), street name (without north, east, west, or south), and other information such as lot, block and subdivision. Usually entering just a house number is a good idea as it will bring up two or three properties to choose from.
Once you have accessed information on your property, you will be able to rotate the site plans, using the buttons on top. You also have the ability to print out the information or e-mail it to your contractor.
We have thousands of permits entered. Updates will occur periodically. Please contact us if you have difficulty finding your permit.
Food Operations: Restaurants & Grocery Stores

The Martin County Health Department regulates food service operations located in institutional settings such as schools, nursing homes, hospitals, correctional facilities, civic and fraternal organizations, bars and lounges that don't prepare foods, theaters that limit their food service to items customarily served at theaters such as beverages, popcorn, hot dogs and nachos; and churches that serve the public.

Mobile Home Parks
Permits and inspects mobile home parks, RV parks and recreational camps.
Migrant and Minimum Housing
Inspects migrant housing facilities and labor camps.
Petroleum Storage Tanks
Inspects regulated storage tanks storing hazardous materials at gas stations, marinas and businesses.
Wells
Issues well construction permits and inspections to ensure construction standards are met.
Limited Use Public Water Systems
Permits, inspects and monitors small public water systems that are supplied by wells. Water sampling for bacteria, lead and nitrate service is available through this program.
Groundwater Monitoring
Locates and samples drinking water wells around reported contamination sites, generates survey reports based on data and reports individual results to residents/owners.
Private Water
Responds to general drinking water concerns (refers to local utilities as needed). Private well water testing is available for a fee.

Beach and River Water Sampling
Monitors levels of bacteria at public beaches and recreational waterways and post warnings, when needed, to help prevent waterborne human disease.
Permits and inspects community and commercial wading pools, swimming pools, spas and freshwater public swim areas for safety, sanitation and properly operating equipment.
Tanning and Body Piercing Facilities
Facilities Inspections
Inspects facilities which are permitted by other agencies such as Child Care Facilities, Foster Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Group Homes and Public/Private Schools to ensure standards for a safe living and working environment.
